Baked Beans Gicleé Print

I have bean eating these for over 40 years now so thought I ought to pay homage to this classic food item and finally draw it!

Some interesting facts about Baked Beans!

1. There are approximately 465 beans in a standard 415gm can of Heinz beans.

2. The earliest reference to baked beans was in 1832 in a book called American Frugal Housewife.

3. The world record for eating six pounds of baked beans is 1min 48sec by Don Lerman of New York.

4. The 1967 album The Who Sell Out by The Who featured on its cover a picture of Roger Daltrey sitting in a tub full of Heinz Baked Beanz.

5. In the same year, Heinz launched the slogan Beanz Meanz Heinz, which was recently voted the top advertising slogan of all time.

• This listing is for one unframed print.
• Each image is hand drawn by me, using pencil, and then inked using a 0.18 Rotring pen. A wash of watercolour is then put over the top.
• Each print is signed personally by me in pencil.
• The Giclée prints are made using an Epson printer with vibrant, pigment-based inks on high quality, archival paper to ensure an 85 year fade resistant and long lasting print.
• Price Options are for either mounted or unmounted prints.
• Mounted prints include a deep 1.5” white mount which is backed and sealed. These are ready to place into frames making them ideal gifts. Available sizes are 10x8” or A3/11.7x16.5”.
• Unmounted prints are inclusive of a white border for mounting and framing which is slightly wider at the base.
